Aspen Blind Repair has been in business since October 2008. It is accredited by the Better Business Bureau, a non-profit entity focusing on the promotion of marketplace trust.

Aspen Blind Repair wants to stand out as a company that offers blind repair services and blind installation services and sales of Hunter Douglas products in Denver, Colorado and the surrounding areas.

Elissa Port, the founder, and owner of Aspen Blind Repair started the company using her experience with window blinds. She worked with a blind manufacturer for several years, during which she had to learn how to do the repairs. When the blind manufacturer closed shop, Elissa saw the opportunity to offer a blind repair services. Eventually , her husband, Jeremie Port, joined her at Aspen Blind Repair. They expanded to offer blind installation services and sales. Jeremie now has a “Master Installer” certification from Hunter Douglas Master for installation and repair of blinds.

Elissa and Jeremie really enjoy the technical challenge involved in the installation and repair of window blinds but they unstersand that not ALL blinds can be repaired. It is because of this that they recently became an Alliance Dealer with Hunter Douglas. Elissa and Jeremie both feel that given the warranty and overall quality of Hunter Douglas products, they feel confident in offering these products to their customers.
